For this reason, at CLAUDIA BE (Claudia Bethencourt Zubeldia) we have always been governed by the highest standards of respect for the fundamental right to the protection of personal data, established in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, pursuing the preservation of the confidentiality of our clients' information, as an essential pillar on which one of our fundamental corporate values, trust, is based.
Now, we are going one step further and reinforcing our commitment to your privacy by guaranteeing the fair, transparent and responsible processing of your data, and by incorporating into our internal rules and procedures the principles included in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter, the General Data Protection Regulation).
This new regulation standardises the protection of individuals in Europe with regard to the processing and free circulation of their data and establishes a framework of information and protection, in which we want you to feel comfortable. Because we are a Group with values, which works with the aim of generating trust in its environment, under the criteria of proximity and transparency, always seeking to provide the best service to its customers.
And for this reason we explain how we treat your personal data.
01. Who am I?
I have been designing and specialising in brand creation and management for over a decade, and specifically, 8 years immersed in this project called Claudia Be, where I focus on Branding work and the design of Visual Identities. I have combined this work with personal projects and dedicated several years to the dissemination and empowerment of the profession in various ways: participating and working, along with other colleagues, on the board of Di-Ca (the Association of Professionals and Design Companies of the Canary Islands) and giving talks at events to bring my profession a little closer to entrepreneurs and business people interested in how branding and design can help improve their brands.
02. What do I need to use your data for?
Uses for contractual purposes
The first and main reason why we need to process your data is to provide the services you have contracted with us and for our own management. This processing is essential. If we did not do so, we would not be able to process your request.
Uses for legal or regulatory purposes
At CLAUDIA BE we are obliged by different regulations to process your data in order to comply with the obligations established therein. These are regulations that establish, for example, tax controls and reports. In these cases, the processing of the data is limited to what is necessary to comply with those obligations or responsibilities required by law. As you may have seen, these types of processing are essential to maintain your relationship with us. Without them we would not be able to provide you with our services.
03. Will my data not be used for other purposes?
The above uses are necessary to provide you with our services, but with your trust, we would like to offer you much more.
Commercial uses based on legitimate interest
Unless you have told us or tell us otherwise, we will send you updates and information about services, products or training. Don't worry. In these treatments we will not use more information than what you have given us or what is generated from the services, products or training acquired during the last year and, if you prefer that we do not do so, you only have to tell us, at Calle/ Fondos de Segura 17B, portal 8,5ºB, (Siete Palmas) C.P. 35019, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. 04. I want to know you better
Nowadays, there are many possibilities to use information to get to know you better, provide you with better service, be more attentive and always ready to meet your needs. Therefore, we will ask for your authorization to process your data.
Uses based on your consent
Only if you give us your permission when we ask you, we would like to process all the data we have about you to get to know you better, that is, to study your needs to find out which new services, products or training are suited to your preferences and to analyse the information that allows us to determine in advance what your preferences are. We would also send you offers for services, products or training that we think may be of interest to you.
05. What happens to my data when I browse the website?
When you browse our website, we want to be able to personalize your experience to make it as unique as possible for you. We may also want to remind you of our services, products or training and offers when you are browsing the internet. You are aware that cookies are used for this purpose. As you can imagine, thanks to the trust you have placed in us, we have information about you. We have already told you what we use it for and how you can control such uses at any time, but what specific information about you are we going to process? Basically, it is your identification data, your contact data, both those you have provided us and those generated by the services, products or training acquired. We will stop processing them once the authorisations for use that you have given us have been revoked or, if you have not revoked the authorisations but you are no longer a customer, six months have passed since the contractual or business relationship established ended, provided that your data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed. This does not mean that we will delete it immediately, since we are obliged by different regulations to retain the information for a certain period of time (in many cases up to five years), but in accordance with the regulations, your data will only be kept to comply with these legal obligations, and for the formulation, exercise or defence of claims, during the limitation period for actions arising from the contractual or business relationships entered into.
